By far one of the best parts of being a photographer is briefly getting to share in a couple’s excitement in expecting a baby. I probably exhausted this awesome couple with my million-and-one questions about how mom was feeling, was the nursery ready, had they settled on a name, were they anxious to finally meet their newborn or were they patiently savoring these last several weeks. For those wondering, the gist of the answers were “good, yes, no, and patiently waiting,” respectively. This couple also made my day by bringing along their four-legged family member, Sam, who had plenty of fun sniffing around and exploring but was on his absolute best behavior.
