Any day that I get to see this happy, smiley, easy-going little guy is a great day! It was a chilly March day when Aiden arrived in the studio for his Cake Smash Session, but the sun was shining bright!
I first met Aiden when he was six months old—we did a beach shoot in Newport, RI over the summer and despite a cool breeze, Aiden was all smiles and joy. I got to see him again right before the holidays for some Christmas photos, and he brought his signature grin again. So I knew before he even arrived that we were going to have a fun, happy time, and he sure didn’t disappoint.
We had a great time capturing portraits of Aiden in his sweet St. Patrick’s Day sweater, and on our old fashioned rocking horse; then we snapped some photos of Aiden’s whole beautiful family. Then came Aiden’s nautical cake smash. After his momma and I discussed potential themes, I drew up a custom backdrop for his set. Aiden had a lot of fun diving into his cake. The only trouble we ran into was his interest in all the sand, which just doesn’t mix well with frosting! Nothing a few wet wipes couldn’t fix though 🙂
In the past few months since his birthday in March, I’m sure this little guy has grown tons, but I am absolutely positive he’s still got his signature sweet smile.
